Ham and Cheese Pastries

Ham and Cheese Pastries

Ham and cheese are the perfect combination for an afternoon tea party. Especially here in Virginia where we serve VA Ham Biscuits at almost every event! Today I’m dressing it up a bit by wrapping these yummies in puff pastry and baking them to a golden, delicious brown. Grab a cup of tea and enjoy!

Ham and Cheese Pastries

  • 1 Sheet Frozen Puff Pastry, thawed and rolled out
  • 1/4 LB Black Forest Ham (I love Boar’s Head!)
  • 1/4 LB Swiss Cheese, sliced or Blue Cheese Crumbles
  • Honey Mustard

Thaw your puff pastry sheet and roll it out. Spread honey mustard over the entire sheet. Lay your ham, completely covering the puff pastry. Lay the Swiss cheese over the ham or sprinkle blue cheese crumbles over the entire surface. Roll the pastry lengthwise so that you have a long roll. Slice roll into about 12-14 half-inch slices and place on parchment covered baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes until slightly brown and crispy. Serve warm.
