Rooibos Tea Body Polish

Rooibos Tea Body Polish

Winter is the season of dry, flaky skin, but this body polish will have your skin feeling smooth and hydrated in minutes. And you probably already have everything you need right in your kitchen.

Body polish also makes a great holiday gift for friends and family. It’s affordable to make so it will keep your budget in check, and the lucky people you give it to will use it all winter long and beg you to make them more!

Rooibos Tea Body Polish

Here’s all you need:

  • 1/3 cup Loose-Leaf Rooibos Tea (or 8-10 whole leaf tea bags cut open and emptied out)
  • 1/3 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Oil (slightly warmed to melt)
  • Zest of 1 Lemon

Simply mix all of the ingredients together in a medium bowl and place in a decorative jar. Tie with a ribbon for an extra special touch.

Use to soften dry hands, feet, and elbows. Simply scrub and rinse for soft skin.

If you’d prefer, you can use green tea or lavender instead of Rooibos tea.

  • Yippee, I have all the ingredients on hand! We’re just getting into the super cold weather and my skin is in desperate need of this. Thank you for sharing with us this week at Celebrate Your Story and we hope you will join us again next week.

  • My hands get so dry in the winter. After washing them again and again and the cold weather, they end up like leather. I’m going to try a batch of this body polish. Thanks for sharing on Sunday’s Best.
